OS switching in Mac OS X

by Andy Howard on April 25, 2006

OS X gives most users everything they need, but stubborn Windows users have forever played the card about game and app support on Mac as a reason not to switch. Not anymore. Not only is Boot Camp publicly available, but Parallels (Intel Mac only) and Virtue Desktops let you switch OS on the fly. Rather than using this to partner Windows with OS X, try running Ubuntu (or your fave Linux distro) alongside OS X if you’ve got an Intel Mac. Linux and OS X together has to be the ultimate experience.
