Photo Booth, Online Editing and Liveblogging

The plan? Snap a few Photo Booth pics on a nice new MacBook Pro in Domayne, edit online using Pixoh, export from Pixoh to Flickr, and liveblog the pics standing on Domayne’s shop floor. It didn’t quite work, because a salesperson and potential customer were impatiently tapping their feet and glancing over my shoulder waiting for me to finish. The customer wanted to buy the MacBook Pro I was playing with because it was the only 17″ left in the store. There was barely time to fire up Gmail and email the pics, so the editing and export happened at home.

Anyway, Pixoh is extremely impressive and will become a ‘go to’ tool for all manner of editing for blog posting. So quick and easy, and the flickr export is brilliant. Imports from URLs too. Image editing is now online… and it’s also foolproof, free and easy. Pixoh will take hold of the editing market the same way del.icio.us has taken bookmarking by the balls. It could even become another bandwidth-hungry acquisition for Yahoo.
