A replacement is certainly on the way, and your allusion to architecture is spot on. Information architecture and online layouts can draw so much influence from offline architecture, and since the visit to NYC I&#039;ve been experimenting with basing elements of page layout and design on actual architecture and objects. I shot some photographs specifically for this purpose, and it&#039;s amazing how well some of them suit certain page elements.

Rounded corners and drop shadows are so artificial. Authentic and emotive design actually stirs emotion and achieves communication. Let&#039;s make the digital world more real.</description>
